I can't catch a break....now Stalin is peeing blood Started last night, there's massive snow here so easy to spot the blood. It seems to be when his bladder is more empty, when it's more full the urine is yellow. I just dropped him at the vet. His regular vet isn't in today since it's Saturday and they rotate.
He's been wanting to go out every 2 minutes lately, but it started after the initial prednisone so I thought that was it. Also, he's had a urinalysis (done by needle even) prior to his rhinoscopy that must have come back clear. I just don't get it. I was really hoping to finally have a relaxing weekend with him
ETA: He's also had over a pound of weight loss very recently. I'm just beside myself again

Maybe it’s just an UTI and there wasn’t enough for them to catch it the first time. Sorry your going through this I know all to well how frustrating it is.

Sending you and Stalin Pug hugs - I'm so sorry you are going through this. I am praying for a correct diagnosis and treatment plan that will give you both a break from all the medical woes.
We never touch people so lightly that we don't leave a trace.

Urinalysis shows a raging UTI, and ulstrasound showed a lot of inflammation.
The area where the tumor would be (the "entrance" area, can't think of the term) is very very inflammed right now so it could be masking a tumor. They did not see anything jumping out at them, but it's still on the table.
He has to follow up in 2 weeks for another urinalysis and ultrasound. Unless he's still peeing blood in 4ish days, then I need to call asap.
She's concerned about that weight loss. It's almost 1.5 lbs in a short time.
