Fran's had a runny nose for a while. We were at the vet about 3 weeks ago. She's been on nosedrops since that visit. And it seemed to help for a while but now she's back to having a runny nose and just sounds nasally congested. If she was a little kid I'd tell her to blow her nose. And yesterday she threw up a bunch of mucus so it must be draining into her tummy.
Her lungs thankfully are clear. Now we've added short term a steroid to see if that helps and nosedrops every other day. She thinks it may be an allergy. During the day it really doesn't seem to bother her, it's worse at night after we go to bed. They are going to call in a few days to check on her. And we'll go from here.
So sorry to hear about Fran's issues. I hope the steroids and other meds help and she feels better soon. Sending positive vibes for little Fran.

I'm so sorry Fran isn't feeling well. I will be praying the meds help her and she is better very soon.
We never touch people so lightly that we don't leave a trace.
Prayers the meds work well and she feels better.

aww poor baby.....Louie and my moms Frannie both take childrens claratin daily. Frannie gets 1/2 tablet 1 X day because she's 13# and Louie gets 1/2 tab 2X day because he's 22 #'s. He used to take Benadryl and it didn't seem to work and we switched and it seems to work a little better.

Sienna has had a runny nose for awhile. She just had a complete checkup and senior blood panel and the vet says she checks out okay.
I'm wondering if it's the weather and change in weather. The dew point affects me, to might be the same for our furkids.

I will remember the Claritin. Hopefully the steriods will help her get better. She's only 11 pounds (she's a chug). Only thing she got from the chi side is her size and her tail. Other than that she's all pug in miniature. Thanks for the info.
