    DefaultIs Simpatico Safe?

We hardly ever have flea problems here, but in the past week I've seen 2. When I bought pet food at my vet's a few days ago I told her both Heidi & Katie Cat needed a flea treatment, so she gave me a Simpatica pill for Heidi & a Revolution topical for Katie. I think I've given Katie Revolution before but have never used Simparica. I always feel nervous about giving my pets anything like this. Has anyone used this? Is it safe for Pugs?

I am not sure about cats .We use Bravecto . My vet does not carry it but they sell it at the vet on base . It lasts 3 month and covers a few other things .
This was a mild winter for us and I certainly will have to start treating the lawn again too to keep or tick problem to a minimum .
We have been using Bravecto since we got Bruno 2 years and it's been reliable . Bruno always sleeps a lot after anything shots . heartworm etc. he is just sensitive overall . We never do things in the same week. It looks like Simparcia works is in the same family of meds . But I have no info or do not know anyone who uses it .

Thank you.....I went ahead & gave Heidi the Simparica pill this morning.....so far so good. I don't have to work today so can keep a close eye on furbabies!

Ha! I see I spelled it 3 different ways......it is Simparica. Katie Cat didn't like me holding her down so I could put the Revolution on her. I had to wrap her in a blanket.

I've never used this so I can't give an opinion. I hope it works well for her!

Both pets seem to be doing fine. Heidi is snoring in her bed right now.
