I have noticed Bruno being less active. He might be doing his final growing as it seemed he bulked out a little more .
What I noticed is he is more clingy and needy . He is a dog who loves people and he probably misses going out to stores with me and doing his job as therapy dog .
He likes outdoors when we do our weekend nature walks . But parks are closed. I noticed he goes to the yard pees and comes back inside . Gordon sits outside most days ( while it is cooler ) and patrols the yard barking here and there to the neighborhood. Bruno’s nature is just not like that .
I have been working a little more but my husband is home all day .
I worry about him just a little . Could he be depressed?
Do dogs get depressed?

Yes definitely I have had a Beagle, Dalmatians. Collies and a Terrier and my Pugs have more personality and show more emotion then any other breed I owned. Sophie knows if something is wrong with Ralphie. He’s now 12. I can read so much from them especially Sophie. Since she is younger and doesn’t have sight and hearing problems like Ralph. Her body language and reading her eyes. Tell so much how she is doing, feeling. If your routine is different/off they are going to pick up on it. This virus is affecting us all in some way, shape or form. I hope your Pug is ok.

Poor Bruno! I think dogs do get depressed and I am sure he misses all of his friends he gets to meet doing his therapy work.
Hopefully this will all be over soon and he can go back to "work" and back to normal.
Bless his heart. I think this is just a very rough and confusing time for everyone.

I think the change in lifestyle is effecting all of us, including the dogs. Darwin has always been a bit of a woofer, but he's excelled himself at it the past few weeks. He frightened the life out of me waking me up at 4.00am this morning barking his head off, and then again 30 minutes later - just gave me enough time to go back to sleep! I knew it wasn't anything to worry about as the two girls ignored him and carried on snoozing, but it's like he's decided that because I'm at home all the time he has to take his personal protection duties to ensure my safety at all times to maximum settings!
Hope that Gordon settles down ok and there isn't anything untowards troubling him

Oh poor baby Bruno! I hope he is okay and that this is over soon so he can get back out there!

Poor Bruno. I'm guessing he's just depressed and a bit confused and missing his "work" and outings. Things are strange right now for everyone.
I hope it's just that and nothing physical going on with his. Give him an extra cuddle from me.![]()

Dogs do get depressed. Who is your soul-pug, Gordon or Bruno? Your soul-pug will prefer to have you around.
If Bruno is very social, that could be what is depressing him, too. He's missing the exercise as you said he was filling out. Bruno probably needs the activity and socialism.
