Poor Charlie! That looks painful. I hope he's doing better today and not licking it as often. I don't have any advice, but I'm sending positive healing vibes for that dear boy.

This happened with my first pug, Gus. He ripped a nail out bc it had gotten stuck in a floor grate. There was alot of blood and I passed out. It healed very easily and the nail grew back just fine.

You can give your Pug half a Benadryl to help with inflammation and pain it might help him to sleep as well. Or even a baby aspirin BOL

I hope not too! :) We are applying the Leucillin once a day.
Other than that, if I'm honest, it's like it never happened. The red part has gone and a tiny tiny nail is still there. He's bouncing about like nothing was ever wrong :)

We're just keeping a close eye.

    Thanks for asking!
