Charlie's eye

So sorry for the lack of post about it....
This week has been crazy, I've applied for a new job at work and it's a jump up 3 bands - hey, if you don't ask, you don't get! - :) so there's a LOT of work for me to do to get ready for an interview if I get one.

Thank you to the people who asked about him!

So, it's a bit strange really. We are carrying on with the abx eye drops and the lubricant as we were told to. To be honest, I've not given him his pain meds every day because he's just not bothered by it. Why risk his kidneys when I don't need to?! Every other day or so, he gets some. And I think the antiinflammatory properties will hopefully have worked their magic by now.

He does not seem at all bothered by his eye in the slightest. It's as much open as his other one is and he's behaving perfectly normally.

However I can still see the mark where the ulcer is :( and it's still very slightly cloudy in that bit.
We are due to go to his next checkup in a couple of days so fingers crossed, she'll be happy.

I hope so too, bless him. I don't know if I like the fact I can still see where it is / was but in himself he seems loads better so I'm hoping it's getting there :)

The job is sort of up and across a bit, more into medicine than nursing :)
