Default Lolli bleeding from her lady part?

Help. Any ideas why Lolli who has been spayed might be bleeding? We noticed a bright red quarter size spot of blood on the blanket where she was laying. After checking her all over I saw a little bit of blood around her private area. She seems fine, no UTI symptoms and this was fresh red blood. Not been around a dog in heat and she is spayed so I am kind of freaking out.

I would take her to the vet in the morning.

That’s what we’re going to do. I cleaned it again and put a white rag towel under her so we can at least she how much is there in the am.

Was she spayed recently? Could she have a vaginal infection? You said she had no UTI symptoms, but Heidi has had many UTI's without any noticeable symptoms. A couple of times she bled a lot when she peed & really scared me. I agree with Ellen--I would get her in to a vet in the morning, if possible.....please keep us posted.

She could have an infection or possible stones. My friend saw blood around his girls vulva and it was stones. Izzy had some blood in her urine when she had stones.

Seeing all being well...and it being treatable with meds and diet if that is it!

Thank you everyone it really freaked me out and of course we’re at the ranch. It doesn’t seem to bother her but we will definitely be seeing the vet in the morning and at least if I can’t get her seen there I can get her into the emergency vet at the vet school for sure. It’s been almost 2 years since she has been spayed but she has had UTI issues previously.

Praying for a correct diagnosis and a treatment plan that will make her better. Will be watching for an update.

Hoping nothing serious. Good that you are having your vet check her out.

Sounds suspiciously like a UTI or stones - hope she’s better soon!
