    Default Dog Cam

I was wondering how many of PV members actually use a dog camera or else ?
We have one that shoots treats and we turn on the Google Nest Hub Camera for the kitchen since we got Henry. So when we leave we can monitor Henry and Bruno locked in the kitchen and Gordon in the living room. Its really a peace of mind knowing they are OK and especially knowing Henry is not the cry baby that he is.

We don’t have one in the house, mostly because I’m home but we have the outdoor ones and I watch them when they go out on those.

I have Nest....loved it when I had pups! I have to change some locations to see better cuz Izzy and Storm are usually loose in the house since I'm only gone for short times!

I got a cheap-o camera that hangs from a dog's collar to "see what your dog sees on his walks"... I hung it so it could see the hounds when I was at work... and set it to take pics every 15 minutes.. then I'd come home and download the pics...

First, they slept. Then they rolled over and slept. Then they reconfigured who was where, and - you guessed it! - slept.

I have cameras throughout the house and check on my babies often, even with crating.

I've just replaced two of my internal cameras with new ones. I've been really impressed with these TP-link ones. The install is so quick and easy to do, the picture quality really good and this model still allows for recording to an SD card. So many of the new cameras only have Cloud subscriptions for recording and viewing playback and I really don't want to get tied into that. I was able to shop around to get them a lot cheaper than their recommended retail price too

We have one! I got it from hubby as a Christmas present a couple of years ago and during 2019 it gave me so much peace-of-mind to be able to check on Wonka during the day and make sure he was sleeping comfortably or breathing well. I still use it sometimes to check on Beanie when I am out, but I'm also home more often now since I'm still partly working-from-home this year due to COVID restrictions.
