I've never tried it, but I've heard of people having a lot of success with using it on stubborn wounds that aren't healing. In theory it seems like it would be worthwhile to try in the nose fold. Unlike a lot of medicines, the honey would be safe for the pug to lick off if any trickled down the nose.
If you do try it, please update us and let us know how it worked (or didn't). I know i would be very interested in finding out and I'm sure others would be as well.

So my Bruno actually did not have a really bad nose cold but the dermatologist did do a culture and it turned out he had a resistant bacteria And needed specific antibiotics. I say if you are having issues go see Dermatologist we got some really nice wipes to for all the boys

I’ve been having this problem with my pug as well, and decided to go on Amazon and I finally found two products that are amazing! The first you have to be careful not to get on his/her eyes (I use a qtip and make sure he doesn’t lick the medicine). After the chlorhexdine solution dries, I go in again (with either another qtip) and put some the GLORIOUS “Squishy Face Paste” in the photo that’s attached. After years of trying to come up with a solution, I finally found an answer. Haha...hope this helps!
