Make 2 lbs of home made beef liver jerky. Lol
Little guy was going berserk while I was ripping it into bite size pieces. He kept jumping into the backs of my legs making my knees bang into the cupboards (oww!). And I have 3 batches of apple cinnamon pretzel dog treats in the oven. Spoiled..... lol
I take it back. Its how to make Benny one BAD NAUGHTY pug. AS I was typing the original post I noticed he was not by my feet which could only mean one of 2 things.
1 hes eating kitty poop out of the box or
2 he somehow got to the ziplock bag of jerky on the counter!!! and ripped it open and was eating his little heart out.
It was option 2.
Boy did he out up a fight for that bag. Little jerk. Lol
Yummie! My Benny does that too. He jumps on the back of my knees and cries when I am getting breakfast and dinner for the three of them. I think he thinks that will make me hurry up. Gus runs and gets in his crate because he knows that's where the food is served and he wants to be ready. No sense in making a fuss as Benny is taking care of that part. Our new little black girl just stands and barks. It's a fun time at or house at meal times.
LOL! Smart little devil!
Jackie,Mom to Robbie & Stacy my human children and Tinker my furkid.
Yup hes a naughty smart little devil.
Yeah for it it sucks cause he'll do it on the front on my knees and hes gunna blow my knee out one of these days lol
May I ask how do you make the home made beef liver jerky?
Lol yes you may
Buy liver. For me I goto to the Hispanic market because they sell is for .50 a lbs. And Dominicks wants over a dollar a pound
Then I preheat the oven to 200 degrees because I don't have a food dehydrator
Bake for 4-6 hours, the thicker the cut the longer it'll need to bake.
When you cool it it must cool on a wire rack as the bottom side will be a little moist. And air needs to be able to hit it
Then I tear it into the size pieces I want. Raw liver is a pain in the butt to cut so I just wait and tear. or you can also use kitchen scissors.
Benny is a lucky little guy....LOL
