    Default Good Vibes needed!!

My Husbands poor little 10 year old pug Maddie was attacked today by his late sisters dog. Her bottom jaw was ripped off and dangling by a few pieces of tissue. Luckily Marcus's Mom works at one of the top vet hospitals in the state and Maddie was in the OR within 30 mins.

Poor girl had some major reconstructive surgery and is part bionic with all the metal and wire holding her poor bottom jaw together. She also had her skull punctured as well by a k-9 tooth.

She is home resting. Drinking and eating liquid canned food. Still in lots of pain despite shots and pills.

So lets all hope for a speedy recovery for Maddie!!

(Marcus got her when he was 19 and she lives with his mom, she is still his little baby though)

Ill try to find a picture of her and post it

They wont. Shes all thats left of his sister who died just over a year ago.

My poor husband is besides himself. He goes from being sad to plotting Saydie's death (dog that attacked maddie)
I sent him to the bar with his friends just now so he could let off some steam.

ill be calling tomorrow to see how shes doing.

    Poor Maddie

I really think that they should make sure that Maddie is never left alone with Saydie. If Saydie has done it once, who is to say she will not try again? Plus Maddie is highly likely to find it stressful to be with her attacker. I hope some solution can be found.

Wow, that sucks. They will have to do something to ensure there are no repeats of the incident.

Saydie would already be dead had it been my dog. As it is, the pug has endured excruciating pain, the vet bills will be crippling, and no amount of whiskey shots in the evening will solve the problem come the morning after. I am so sorry.
