My female Lola stopped getting taller and has been 18-1/2 lbs since she was about 9-10 months old. She is now almost 15 months old. My male Ozzy is still growing up and out and he is almost 9 months old.
Not sure if this is helpful to you............

Otis is also tall with a long skinny body and he's 10 months old. People always ask me what he's crossed with because he's not the typical short stalky pug shape. I've heard they fill out more around 2 years old.

They reach full height by a year old, maybe a bit earlier, but will continue to fill out until at least age 2. Maybe longer depending on the bloodlines.

Beatrice is still tall and skinny at age 2. Not sure if she will ever fill out!

Bebe will be 6 months next week, she seems like she stopped growing taller and started to fill a little bit. Still not sure if she's going to be a skinny or not.

    Then...

    Recently...

When we got our Henry Lee, he was a 2 year old rescue... Skinny, hump in his back, not neutered, behind on all of his shots, herina, small chest and even smaller neck. He weighed about 18 lbs. then.

Once we got all of his medical needs taken care of and him getting good food on a regular basis... he started to grow again... at two years old he had a growth spurt. He started running with my Rat Terrier. His neck doubled in size and his chest got real big too. He now is about 28 lbs. and looks like a real Pug. He is very strong and solid. Hump is also gone... but he still thinks his last meal may be he last one... he eats sooooo fast. He has the Fast Break bowl and another one that is similar, those help, but he still inhales everything he can. Sometimes I really dislike people that don't treat their puppers right. He is save here with us and will have a great life and won't have to worry about anything - ever!

He has really turned into a wonderful Pug, not the scared, pitiful one we rescued. He's now very protective of his peeps and home. He will bark at people walking down the street (from his fenced in yard) whereas before, he would run and hide, shaking the entire time.

I didn't think Henry Lee would have grown like he did, after all he was already two years old... but that just goes to show you, you never know!

He could stand to loose a couple of pounds... but he sure is one happy go lucky Pug! He is such a sweetheart, not a harmful bone in his body... you can do anything to him and he doesn't make a fuss... Bath, nails - no problem...

First...the type of pug you have depends on breeding.

That said....most pugs go through a leggy stage. They have height about 8-9 mo.......then fill in and head continues to grow til about 2 yrs old.

If you're not careful about feeding they'll grow out for their whole lives.

Ray has since crossed the bridge but stays forever in my heart. I love you, Boo Boo. Oscar Wilde Thang has joined the family.
