okay, so this will make many of you laugh - after many months of feeling somewhat "tied" to cody, my 10 month old pug puppy, today his wonderful daddy has sort of hogged all my lunch break play time and cuddle time. granted, i'm sick and feel crummy, but a little part of me is jealous, which is ridiculous...
but more importantly, i was thinking about adolescent puppies, and mine in particular, and how we often complain "he always does this!" or "he keeps doing that!" so i thought about it yesterday, and we realized that most days, cody is only naughty for about 20 minutes or less a day. cumulatively. which is pretty good, considering that a few months ago he occupied ALL MY TIME getting into things. i literally wore out the knees on 3 pairs of sweat pants chasing him around on my hands and knees when he was little.
they grow up so fast, sometimes i can't keep up...

What a good looking pup he is. Worth every bit of time and effort I bet.
If you have skin kids, could you ever say the same about them growing up? The 20 minutes or less naughty a day that is.

Ray has since crossed the bridge but stays forever in my heart. I love you, Boo Boo. Oscar Wilde Thang has joined the family.

Good example for all of us! We tend to concentrate on the not so good instead of the good! He is a handsome guy!

Cody sure is handsome :)
I love the photo of Cody on the beach. He's a very handsome Puggie boy.
We never touch people so lightly that we don't leave a trace.
Yes I remember those days of feeling like I really needed a break. Now my Toby is grown up and I get a little jealous of him having daddy time instead of cuddling with me.
