    Default Who needs PetSmart?!?

    so yesterday was cody's 1st birthday. he is such a joy, and he's come so far, it's hard to believe that this time last year he was just a furry little sausage with legs and tiny ears... so of course he went hiking and to petsmart for his birthday party (impromptu as it may be). lucky cody ran into a 9-month-old female hound puppy (he has this weird thing for hounds, loves them all to pieces...), and they proceeded to play and make puppy love in the aisles. it was adorable. cody got new bones, a new harness, and a new toy, although as you can see from his personal favorite toy collection displayed below, we probably wasted our money buying him more dog toys. happy birthday baby boy!

    Minni's favorite toy is one of my old (dirty) socks with a mini-tennis ball tied up in the toe. I can't take off socks without her "helping". The ball is just so it throws easier.

    Be extremely careful with the pennies, they are made of zinc and last year someone's pug died because they ingested several and got zinc poisoning.
