How do you get on having your pug to work with you? I'm looking to get a puppy soon and the boss is happy for me to take it to work with me. Do you actually get any work done?

We own a Landscaping Business and we live at the business. So my office is almost right outside my house door. Today I did get work done it was mostly office! He sat on floor and chewed on bone then at times had to be in my lap while I was on computer he just put his head on edge of desk and fell asleep. When we get busy and we are coming and going out of the sales shed I will need to have him in a outdorr kennel right by sales shed under shade trees so I can see him at all times. And he will get losts of attention from customers.
    But yea I am lucky.

That's handy. I work in an office and I'm usually on my own or just the boss and 1 or 2 employees in so generally won't be a problem. We are planning on crate training so will pop him in there on the odd occasions there's more people around. I'm not sure I'll get much done in the first few weeks though!

The reason we haven't had a pug up to yet is that it's not fair to leave housetraining etc to my mum, who'd offered to have it while I was at work. When my boss said I should just bring it with me I could have kissed him!
