I am relatively new to Pug Village, I poke around all the time but this is my first post. We are moving to Germany in July (Army) and have to get our two pugs (Paris France & Zsa Zsa Gabor) there. I have reservations for them to fly in cabin with us. We will be flying military on Patriot Express trough BWI. My concern is the pugs really only fit in the large Sherpa bag. I have ordered in the medium Sherpa and Large SturdiBag and they are very cramped and uncomfortable, too cramped for an 8 hour flight. Has anyone had success with the large Sherpa bag, it is a couple inches larger than the allowed dimensions, but it will squish.
What is the best way to go unnoticed with the dogs? Should I have them out at the checkin counter so no one notices the bag is a couple inches too big? Should I really not even be worrying about this?
Any tips are greatly appreciated. I really need my babies to make this flight. If not I'm not sure how I am going to get them to Germany. I do not want them to fly cargo.
Thanks in advance for all of your help. I know someone out there in the village has some tips for me :)
I flew Ben in a large Sherpa and with going to the airport...he was in the bag for at least 8 hrs. He did well!!!!
Have a great trip!

Unfortunately I don't have any advice on the flight, but I have to say I love the Pugs' names! :)
love the name too
not much input here
have heard of lots of people that have used sherpa bags though
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........
