I did not know that F.P. was so adventurous!!! Zip lining! Cool! I loved all the pictures. What fun that Feltie got to "meet" the University of GA mascot! I'm sure they had a lot to chat about. What a fun trip to Georgia.

This is amazing, FP has quite the impressive passport! I want to join in! Perhaps one day FP can come and see us in wonderful Liverpool! A trip to The Cavern, Ferry Across the Mersey, he could watch Everton vs Liverpool, or go and see the Liver Buildings! I'll plan his itinerary incase he ever has the chance :p

FP has arrived ... the night is supremely balmy at 87 degrees, but he will have to wait to do some touring, as I am tied up till Monday, got a funeral to attend. Sorry for the wait, y'all!

In the meantime, FP will be catching up on his sleep, from Georgia to Hawaii it is 4,508 miles - so he did travel over half the diameter of Earth to get here :)

Glad he arrived safe he probably has jet lag and will need some recovery time, by the way he finally caught a fish.

I'm so excited that he arrived in Hawaii! I hope he remembered his bathing suit! Will he get to sample some fresh coconut or see a volcano?

FP finally got his entry papers sorted out - Hawaii is rabies (and Lyme) free, and therefore any non-felt pugs must either undergo a blood test or 4 month quarantine before entry. Fortunately, he made it through with help of his passport and vaccine records!

Since Japan is not on his current itinerary, he requested we go to a Japanese restaurant.

I-naba is right down the road, and specialized in/serves one thing only - impeccable handmade soba (buckwheat noodles). Here he had it hot, despite the 94 degree heat, with a side of battera-zushi. "Sushi pressed in a box, topped with vinegared herring (very close to European pickled herring, actually) and transparent seaweed". Hot tea, pickles, and boiled soybeans on the side.

He had to pick up a few necessities, so we headed to

Aaand they overcharged us on an item, so we will have to return tomorrow As you can see, the sun was blazing in the sky, so we made plans for a hike, but first a stop at a ubiquitous coffee shop...
But wait! Within seconds, dark clouds rolled in, and a roaring storm poured down.

Well, that was the end of those plans.... now it was still 90+ degrees, but now under a flash flood watch, forget about the waterfall!

I was never a fan of sushi, but that lovely presentation could certainly change my mind. Just lovely.
