The cruise brochure promised tropic adventure, the cruise ship SS Inchcliff Castle II promised otherwise. A heavy smell of copra hung over the decks. I accepted my mug of Duggans Dew of Kirk Kintaloch and settled in to wait for my adventure. But when I arrived, the concierge seemed distracted:
Later the bellhop declined to carry my suitcase without a tip. I gave him one: bet Calumet Farms in The Derby. I found myself carrying my own bag to my room with an open air lanai.
But I found the suite already occupied.
Although welcome to noodle for fish during my stay, I have cut my stay short in order to savor my next stop.

What a way to start your trip, Mr. Pugley! A distracted concierge and a good-for-nothing bellhop!
I love the open air suite.
On to Mississippi next..... I wonder what adventures you will have there?

I sure hope, by the time you reach me in White Rock BC that the sun is shining, otherwise it's going to be a very soggy stay for you!
Safe travels Mr. Pugley!

Looking forward to your stop in Wyoming. Safe travels.
Wonderful story and pictures! I bet Felt Pugley's googly eyes crossed when he saw that his open air lanai was occupied by Mr Spider lol. Looking forward to watching his journey.

I thought everyone might enjoy reading where the next few stops will take Felt Pugley... from the Tall Grass, he will travel to Mississippi next, then to British Columbia, Canada. From there he goes to California (wish I could go too!!!) and then he'll spend some time in Texas.
After that he zig-zags across the USA a bit more before going global and winging "across the pond" for a cuppa tea with the Queen (don't I wish! LOL) and then he'll be back to Canada for a brief stay before traveling to South Africa. Then some more time in the USA, including Honolulu, Hawaii (maybe he'll get to see a volcano?!) Eventually he will make his way to New Zealand (kiwi!) and even Portugal before coming back to Canada and the USA again. It's really going to be a lot of fun to watch this journey.

Sure wish I could travel like Felt Pugsley. Maybe when I retire. Safe travels Mr. Pugsley and maybe we'll see you soon.

I'd like to travel with Felt Pugley when he leaves your house Gina. South Africa, how cool is that?

This was GREAT!!! I was just starting to wonder if Mr. Pugley had left for his first adventure...it will be so fun to watch his journey!!
I COMPLETELY agree - maybe Mr. Pugley needs a chaperone, to make sure he makes it to his destinations safely? I volunteer for New Zealand and South Africa - after sugarskullz, of course!
Mianna, Malachi and now Rizpah, too!
