Default Flying with Pug Puppy - Advice

Winnie is very verbal, 4 months old, and crazy attached to me. Pees freely on pads all day, poops outside or in certain places indoors. Really no fixed schedule.

I'd like to fly with her - first time - in a few weeks and envision her whining and crying and even barking in her bag underneath the seat for hours. 4 1/2 hr flight. Not so much the bathroom issue but the spoiled brat being stuck in a bag. I did not crate her. She is on my lap a lot.

    Any advice?

You can give her a Benadryl! You'd be surprised! I thought Ben would be nuts....but he flew from Columbus to Nevada and then on to San Jose CA.....was a doll!!!!

Start teaching the dog to be calm and quiet in the travel bag?
The pup's definitely old enough to learn!

... any guide on crate training could be transferred directly here.
