Default Thing of making a Labardor Box for Christmas for Bob............a PIC of Bella's that I did..

one year for Christmas for my son I made a Christmas gift for him all about the bulldog.
I wrapped up all the gifts under the tree and she could open them all up......we had a hoot........took about an hour and half......
thought of other gifts for some in there for his interests too

thinking I might do this for Bob this year but in the Labrador theme??

any ideas on what to put in the Box??

most of the toys Bella had in the box were able to be played with by both the pugs and Labrador likely.....lol
but looking for some new ideas
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........

Pretty sure it won't take Coco an hour and a half to unwrap presents :P

It's a very sweet idea! Lots of floating fetch toys if Coco is a typical lab! :)

yea was thinking some chewable antlers
anything that he can retrieve works........
he actually does not seem to fond of water as such yet but that will come.....lol
    he into playing big time.....

what took Bella so long is that she stopped and played with each toy as it was opened.......lol

she got first dibs to the gifts she wanted open and the first one was a jolly ball under the tree
the last things that she opened were things for her that she could not really care about as much.......lol

just like a kid and it was a hoot

Labrador 'stuff' for his truck(s)? Air freshener/seat cover/window sticker??
    Coco's pic on a keyring?
    Labrador tie/bowtie?

    Sounds fun!

a chocolate Labrador calendar for sure is what I am thinking
would make my own if I can find enough pics of Coco on my computer still.......lots some pics with the new computer but may be enough on photobucket....
a lab keychain is a great idea.....love it
    anything chocolate lab will work...lol

along with all the things for the bulldog Christmas for Bryan bought him a bulldog Christmas tree that is a collectible....has 30 or more bulldogs climbing up a Christmas tree that is nice too. might be one for labs as well

labs are a popular dog so should not be so hard to find things for a lab

Kong is the most reliable toy for a lab or a tuffy style toy

I think L.L. Bean has slippers that have 1/2 a Lab on one foot & the other 1/2 on the other foot, but not sure if they only come in Ladies.' You could check....Molly really loves her pheasant toy, & she really loves her frizbee, although we aren't throwing that much anymore because of her arthritis.

My dogs would want you for their Grandma!!!

Tennis balls! Lots of tennis balls! Frisbee, chew toys, glow in the dark collar, the possibilities are endless. What a great idea!

he has a number of toys that I bought him as young pup that were supposed to do him until he was a bit older.....but.....lol. He was playing with the not so small jolly ball at 9 weeks already. Can get him a much larger one to play with.
he is very strong and powerful so was thinking of a Frisbee as well.
since I need things for Bob too......that are lab related I will have to look around some

hope to be able to get on some antlers on Coco and such for when Bob gets home on Christmas Day from his grand daughters and Coco can meet him at the door. I will be there waiting. I dressed Bella in a Santa Suit for when Bryan came home off the ships that night and wow she was not super impressed ......lol. can see my dressing a full size lab in a santa suit and he has to leave it on.....hahahaha. not likely so the antlers will have to do.

will wrap some local smoked bones for him too........he loves them and can go through them pretty fast. that might help to get him interested in opening things. I had that issue with Bella and had to entice her with some liverwurst packed under the paper..and it worked like a charm. the kong balls are a hit with Bella and will try them on Coco. he loves things that squeak and squeak.

I think it will be a blast really.........my son talks about his bulldog Christmas to all his friends and he had a riot and laughed so hard when Bella opened up the gifts....... she was totally exhausted at the end.

My son and I sat around and ate special things for Christmas night....while Bella opened everything and we watched........she was one busy bulldog.......lol
