P-Nut is diagnosed with PLE, caused by either or a combo of - Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Addison's Disease and/or Intestinal Lymphoma (cancer).

Wow, that is a long time in the hospital! I hope you have insurance. P-Nut was never hospitalized....thank goodness as it has been tough enough paying for the specialist visits, ultrasounds, x-rays and weekly re-checks and blood panels.

I am so glad you are able to give her such good care.

Hoping all goes well with the scope and biopsies today. I will be worrying about her! Please update us as soon as you hear anything.

Still hoping for something manageable. Give her a wrinkle rub for me.

no insurance all out of pocket. its only money and i have good health and will make more :)
in the last 2 years we have spent a little over $10,000.00 on her including this bill, which is going up by the day lol
she went in at 2:00 to start the scoping procedure, will post up when i hear from the doc.

they are keeping her because they are starting her on a low dose of steroids and want to keep an eye on her,if she has a bad reaction shes better off there. once the biopsy results come back then we will have a time line on when she comes home

Did they do the ACTH test before starting the steroids? You can't get accurate results if she's on them already....unless they have her on budesonide.

I'm so sorry there is no insurance!
