Question Poca first day Home today !

Im so excited and happy having her !!
yesterday I started a thread to help me name her "https://www.pugvillage.com/forum/pug-...pug-puppy.html"

I thought she would be 8weeks as anyone would expect .. I had ratcliffe 7weeks and a half and I saw him small
But pocahontas is extremley small she seems 5weeks!! even smaller than her name
Have anyone had a pug that young? best food to feed? should I let her playing around the house or should I crate her most of the time ?..
I usually never crate my pug ... Im afraid anything goes wrong I want her to have long healthy life

    here are some shocking images!

    TINYYYY AND CUTE

She's cute! Really small!!! Make sure you let the food soften up in water before feeding her if she's that young!!!! Did the person you got her from say what she was feeding? Mine aren't eating solid food til close to 7 wks old.......

I gradually soften less and less til hard food with some water. I also put in some canned!

Until close to 8 wks old.....I feed 4 x a day....then go to 3 times at 8 wks old. Itty was smaller and I gave her 4 meals with the last meal being very small for an extra week.

Watch that carpet with her too! She's gonna want to eat it and pee on it!!!

    Enjoy!

Thanks I really needed your advice .. I called the vet (they were closed I couldn't take her)
they Recommended to give her Baby Dog Milk "royal canin" & Royal Canin Urban Life Junior Wet food

    She's so darned cute!

I only crated my pup when I couldn't actively watch her - it helps immensely with potty training.

We also had a lovely furry rug on the floor ... we rolled that up pretty soon after she got there, cleaning it is exhausting. Knowing what I know now, I'd suggest just rolling it up right away until her potty training is further along.
