I know you aren't suppose to have favorites but my pug is my fav dog. She is a cuddle bug and a Velcro dog. She loves to be next to me. Her loyalty and devotion is one of my favorite things about her. I feel bad at night that she sleeps in her crate. But she loves it there bc we feed her there. You know pugs, home is where the food is lol. I think she would like to sleep with me but I am a light sleeper. Where does your pug sleep? If In your bed, how do you deal with the snoring? Do all pugs snore?
Our Pugs allow us to share their big bed. I couldn't sleep with out the of their breathing/snoring. Neither of our present Pugs snore very much nor too loudly. "Sugar" Ray sounded like a cross of a freight train and a diesel truck, I came to love the sound. I cannot begin to say what I would give to hear him again.
Chris, owned by Minni the diva, and "Sugar" Ray the ever hungry.
Ray has since crossed the bridge but stays forever in my heart. I love you, Boo Boo. Oscar Wilde Thang has joined the family.

Im sorry you lost your dog. One of my dogs passed away three months ago I miss her everyday. I wish I could be like you and sleep with Nibbler. my dad used to snore very loud when I lived with my family I could hear him on the other side of the house. Nibbler is much quieter by contrast. I notice it depends heavily on their sleeping position. I might get ear plugs and just allow her to sleep in my bed

I have big-time sleep issues. I wear earplugs, blast a sound machine, wear blinders, and take sleep meds. Still, Stewart sleeps beside me every night. He does snore, but it's not terribly obnoxious. (My ex-husband's snoring was worse BY FAR.) Once Stewart goes to sleep, he sleeps so soundly and doesn't move until I say the magic words in the morning: "Let's go." In an instant, he can switch from deep sleep to happily leaping off my bed. I laugh at this every single morning. It never gets old.
Here he is, waiting for me to climb into bed with him.
Winter's coming. What's that bump under my covers?!
Time for another round of "Find the Pug."

I sleep way better with the dogs in their suite (Decker in a crate and Ohna loose in near him)... They would gladly join me in my bed, and over the years, I have let that happen... and then not.. and then again... and then not... and then again...
At CAMP (or when I am a guest somewhere), we sleep in the bed together... at the HOUSE, we sleep in our own spaces!

Mine sleeps with me, she doesn't generally snore.
beans sleeps against my back all night long, frank sleeps under the covers with my wife up until about 4:30 then he comes over and nudges me to let him under my covers so he can sleep the last hour or so between my legs.
Our pugs generally sleep in an x-pen next to the bed because I'm a light sleeper and with the pugs on the bed I get way to warm and can't sleep as well. However, we have a routine that allows each pug some "Big Bed" time every day. I tend to go to bed earlier than hubby so Wonka and I share the bed for an hour or so before hubby comes to bed. Wonka gets put in the x-pen when hubby crawls into bed. Then, in the AM, hubby gets up and goes to work earlier than I do and Wonka likes to lick his breakfast bowl for a long time, so hubby puts Nilla on the bed and Nilla gets to lay in bed with me until I wake up. That way I get several hours pug-free in the middle of the night, but I get time with each pug on the bed in evening and morning!

Most of the time Milo sleeps in the bed with me. I love the sound of his snoring and am used to it! He sleeps with his head on my arm or stomach he likes to be cuddled up close. On nights he won't relax and isn't tired when I am, he sleeps in his kennel. it signals to him to calm down and that it's bed time!![]()
