Default dog bed washing day = sad Nilla pug

Poor Nilla. She loves her beds and she loves her routine. Today was dog bed washing day and this morning I watched her sadly go from room to room, looking for her favorite beds and wondering why they weren't where they belonged. Sigh. Such a sad little pug when she had to settle for the couch instead.
Thankfully all the beds are back where they belong now, looking and smelling much better, so she can rest easy and relax now. LOL

Nilla sounds like she’s very hard-done-by. Imagine having to snooze on the couch! Oh, the horror! LOL

Will says dog beds are for DOGS Nilla. Sofas are for pugs!! :)

He literally refuses any type of dog bed unless he's in his man cave (crate).

Ugh. Snifter hates clean beds, poor old chap. They just don't smell right.

Wonka would always choose the sofa over a dog bed, but Nilla can be an odd girl. She really loves her dog beds. We actually have a dog bed in every room of the house. Even, yes, the bathroom/loo!! And some rooms have multiple beds (3 in living room)! A stranger might come in our house and assume 8-10 dogs live here! But no, just the 2 pugs - Wonka has 2 beds and Nilla has 8. We are servants to our pugs... and beds make Miss Nilla happy.

Oh, I just realized, there is no dog bed in the laundry room! Perhaps we need to fix that at Chrstimastime? LOL Nilla has climbed in the laundry basket though and napped, so I guess she considers the dirty clothes basket to be another bed.

We can relate to the bed thing here - 12 beds for 2 Pugs and 1 Chihuahua. Heaven forbid they should have to walk more than 3 feet and not find a bed.
We never touch people so lightly that we don't leave a trace.

Hmmm. Here we have two pugs and one bed. They share it during the day when I’m out. I don’t think either of them go on the couch unless I’m sitting there. They sleep on the bed with me at night, but I keep them out of the bedroom when I’m not home. Poor things!

Noodles is just the same, he doesn't use his beds too often but when we wash them he hates it, equally he hates it when we wash his blankets!

I was at $5 Below and they had some really nice SOFT fluffy beds for $5, so I bought a new one for Sienna. She loves it.
Like you, Lu Ci and Ri Ki, we have dog beds all over the place. They still have the couch (when both girls are up there, we have puggie bookends).

Pugs are "routine" dogs for sure. Mine get very upset when something in their world is unbalanced.
