12 Dogs of Christmas, 3 French (Bulldog) Hens

The Kansas City Star has been running a fun series on the 12 Dogs of Christmas. I posted the first day, "A Pug and Pear Tree", a few days ago. Yesterday was Zelda, a Havanese for "Two Turtle Doves", but for some reason no pic was on line.

Today was "Three French Hens" with the cousin to the Pug, the French Bulldog Lilly. Thought you would enjoy the cute pic and video!

What a couple of cuties!! I must say, I thought Lily was doing a rather impressive Marcel Marceau impression--with the tear stains that looked like little triangles under her eyes.

Hey the havanese really got the shaft the only picture in the paper was a little one at the top of the page - kind of lke an afterthought - the pug got a full page spread and so did the frenchie- her brother was named whiz and didn't get a picture but in the article it said "he took a whiz on the way out!"

I didn't see the Sunday paper with the Havanese but noticed it was not online. This is a cute series. Everyone in my building that gets the paper is giving me copies, one person missed the Pug and thought Puggles was a Frenchie...
