I think I saw something about this on another thread, but I don't know where I saw it......I have posted 4 or 5 photos now, & just found out yesterday that is all I can do because I saw the message that said I exceeded the kb I could use......do I need to delete the photos from the site we are using, and how would I do that......I tried right-clicking on the question marks, but didn't see that choice.....also the pictures I posted yesterday turned out sideways.....why?

I am loving seeing all the wonderful pictures everybody is putting on here now! Seems I've run into a little "snag!"

Keep in mind though, if you delete them from your account, they won't show up on the thread anymore.

If you have a software program on your computer that allows you to re-size the photos (make them smaller) before you upload/attach them, that will allow you to store more. There are also some online websites that give you options to re-size a photo. In the meantime though, I'm going to see if the PugVillage forum owners are willing to bump up our space allotment, because several people have already used up the space that we were given to start with.

If the originals were sideways on your computer, then they will be sideways here as well. Unfortunately, the forum software doesn't give an option to edit/resize or rotate the images... you have to do that stuff before uploading the photo.

Update: Admin gave us more photo storage space!! We now have 2GB of space allowed per registered member for photos. This is double the storage space we each had before.

I would still advise you to try to re-size your photos before uploading them though. Many cameras are, by-default, set to something like 4000x3000 pixels or higher. If you down-size the photos to a smaller pixel size, you can store more photos here on the forum.
