We went to a lovely seaside village called Tintagel :) The boys had a whale of a time. We met many animals that Charlie particularly was very intrigued by (and vice versa!)
The house was next to a field with sheep / lambs. There was a wall round the garden so they couldn't see Charlie but the lambs were very intrigued by his noises!! :) Charlie was most disturbed by the bullocks on our morning walk at first but after a few meetings with them, he was fine :) They came to the gate every morning to greet him.
First two are when we were travelling and had stopped for food. Always starving, both pugs begged for our snacks.
We also went to an Otter Sanctuary in Launceston. There was a cuddly 12 week old otter ! So cute but the lady did say they were approaching the time when they wouldn't really be able to safely handle her any more. They had birds of prey too there. My eldest nephew and I held a snowy owl :)
"I wonder if mum will ever trust me enough so I can join in the game????!"
"Yey!! She did!! My ball now people, come and get it if you dare!!!":
The harness that Charlie has on may look a bit bulky and uncomfortable for him but it is literally the best invention ever. I absolutely love it. He doesn't seem uncomfortable in it. I think it was designed for pugs!!lol. (Apart from the fact the brand normally makes outdoor wear for GSDs and the like.lol) He so enjoyed the ball game, it was so cute to watch and when he realised noone would chase him and he needed a drink, he did come over and relinquish the ball a few times!lol

What a gorgeous place for a holiday. Love all the photos. Thank you for sharing them with us.
We never touch people so lightly that we don't leave a trace.
Pugs.... Otters.... a Beach... This looks like my absolute perfect dream holiday! The boys look like they had a great time. And those otters, OMG, SO CUTE!!!!Otters!!!
The scenery is gorgeous. Such beautiful countryside.
The lambs are adorable... but OH! Those otters!!!!!!
Love seeing Charlie with the ball. The little scamp! LOL That harness actually looks a lot like the one Nilla wore in the last couple years of her life, I forget the name brand, but I do remember that it was a British company that designed it. The padding around the edges seemed very comfortable to her and the deep V in the neck area fit her well.

So fun!
I was admiring the harness before you mentioned it. What brand is it?
Thanks :)
The brand is "3 Peaks". I believe they make hiking accessories for dogs and camping beds / mats etc.

It's the best one I've ever found for Charlie. Although it rides up obviously when he's in my arms, it really doesn't seem to pull at all on his neck (when he pulls sometimes on a walk). The V doesn't look deep on the picture on the website but it is.

Most dog trainers don't like them for training puppies as there's no impact on their neck / head when you correct them but I'm a rebel and I use it anyway! :) I'd rather it take longer to train Charlie and protect his neck obviously.
Our dog trainer hasn't seen it yet because I've only recently found it.

What a lovely time!
I love the fields and animals (wish the neighbor had sheep!) The fence is amazing.
Did you see the castle? Isn't that where King Arthur was born?
