The stress of going away! Had to find another sitter

I don't know if you all remember last year I took leap of faith went on Rover.com and hired a dog sitter. She ended up being awesome! Dogs loved her. She was here the entire time. I just booked her 2 months ago for our yearly Disney trip coming up in Jan. I got a text last week saying she got a job offer in Colorado and will be moving in Dec so no longer available I panicked big time. Onto to Rover I went with high anxiety. I just met a sitter tonight. She seems GREAT!!! Dogs immediately warmed up to her. Lyla climbed on her lap and fell asleep. She stayed 2 hours!!!! My father in law will be here the first 6 days and then she will take over for 4.5 days. I feel happy about it. She is super smart going to school for engineering so she said lots of studying time on the couch with the pups! I feel I should now have like 3 sitters lined up in case this happens in the future haha

What a bummer that your previous sitter is moving!! But that is fantastic that you found a new one who seems like a good fit. And did she like Mushu as well as the pups?
Having a good sitter will make it much easier to enjoy your vacation.

You always could do a test run and take your family out for a weekend ? But yes I agree a back up is a good idea perhaps start looking now for someone deep rooted in the community . The new girl is only going so long to school lol

Glad you were able to find another sitter that you like and are comfortable with!
Leaving Otis would give me such anxiety.
