    Default Pet insurance

We are on our way to pick up Louie! Don’t worry, I’m not the one driving.

We still haven’t found a pet insurance.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Default Pet insurance

    I use Pets Best

I wanted to let you know about pet insurance from Pets Best. Pets Best helps reimburse expensive, unexpected vet bills with BestBenefit accident and illness coverage. For annual check ups and shots, optional BestWellness routine care coverage is a great addition to any accident and illness plan.

You can decide what you want .
It’s easy to claim right from the App. I got paid so far everything I expected them too.

Most of the Pug people I know use Nationwide . They also offer a great maintenance plan .

I have Trupanion for both of mine. They have been excellent with claims, easy to submit and reimbursed quickly. Best advice is if you are going to get it start insurance immediately after first vet visit

My two pugs are 14, and 15 and I do not have insurance on them, my 3 year old English Setter has healthy Paws and I have was reimbursed for a few expenses when I first got Finn. I do notice they up their yearly prices about 5 dollars a year.

Nationwide formerly VPI - major medical plan and maybe the wellness rider since he's a pup and you can take advantage of the neuter benefit

whatever you choose, get it NOW.....some people even get the insurance before they bring the pup home to make sure they don't exclude any pre-existing conditions

I had question. What is the consensus on pet insurance? Is it worth it? I can pay $70 a month for a mixed breed large puppy with Trupanion. That I found information through petinsurancefinder (i.e 90% coverage minus my 600$ deductible, per condition, not annual deductible).

I've never had pet insurance, but I think it can be a good idea if you can afford it. Back when pet insurance first started, my vet didn't recommend it because she said you still have to pay up front anyways, then get reimbursed from the insurance company. We've always gotten by fine, but our previous Pug did have to be checked out at WSU for coughing issues & that bill was almost $1700, but that was the biggest one we've had to pay. Yes, Pugs can be expensive on the vet bills, but usually we get by with small, though rather frequent vet bills! But my vet is also very understanding & reasonable.

Way to much I pay less with 90% coverage and no deductible.
