    DefaultThree week update

Louie will be home with us three weeks tomorrow.

He has definitely grown. He is eating, drinking, peeing and pooping and all of that extremely well.

He likes to go visit Loon at the office. He thinks he owns that place too.

He is WILD. He bites and nips still. He runs and plays and attacks his toys. He runs in circles through my office area, the living room and dining room. Sometimes he literally does somersaults. He did all of the above at 4am this morning.

He is SLOOOOOOOWLY learning the word “no”.

I will be glad when he is fully vaccinated and can go outside and actually have fun. He LOVES outside.

He is stubborn, spoiled and obnoxious and I love him and wouldn’t trade him for anything in the world. He is the perfect baby puggy boy for us!

Hi just don’t use a verbal no. Use visual discipline also so no and put up your index finger. My 6 year old female still runs around and goes crazy sometimes. But both of mine don’t bite or chew furniture - shoes just their toys.

Also if your pug nips a little, lite tap on the nose will help.

Thanks! I just realized I do put up my index finger. We have grown children so I guess its left over from parenting them LOL I didn't even realize I did it until you said that.

He doesn't nip a little. He is full on wild with his nipping and biting. We have found using a couple pages of rolled up sales paper helps. We don't hit him with it. We just hit something else to make the noise. The noise grabs his attention. We tried the pennies in a tic tac container thing and he just ignored it. We are also unable to clap our hands because he either ignores it, or our hands happen to be what he is bitting/nipping at.

    Love the photo!

Just make sure you’ve always got a toy in your pocket - he can’t nip you if he’s got a toy in his mouth!

Xanthe was 5 years old last week and it would still like to engage in rough, bitey play with me - if I let her, which I don’t! I just wonder at what age they eventually grow out of it lol!
