No he didn't fall into the pool he D O V E in! Not only did he swim without a vest as he did this at 5:30 a.m. but he was swimming in circles in the deep end and laughing at me! I on the other hand was steaming mad as my slippers yes this is why they are called slippers, slipped on the cover and I almost joined him (my check bone isn't broken but it hurts like H****)
The water isn't too bad but I was soaked once he decided to come to the side and let me get him out. Now I have to go home and bathe him because he smells like a wet Pug! I am sure he will think I am crazier as "hey mom I had a bath this morning"

Glad this had a happy, if not soggy, ending.

Is your pool fenced so he can't do that whenever he wants? I'd really worry about him drowning--Pugs aren't noted for being very good swimmers, & if you weren't there to fish him outta there, might not have had a good ending...….glad he is o.k!

Aw Herc you gave your Mom a fright I’m sure. You might think your tough but be careful cause once your little legs get tired your heavy bottom will make you sink like a rock. Maybe you should stick to dry land and doing the Pugtona and watch her run instead!

Good grief! Tinker used to swim with me when she was younger almost everyday. I have steps at the shallow end and I taught her to swim to the steps so she could get out. My pool is fenced so she couldn't get in unless someone was with her but it stills scares you when they fall in. She never dove in so that's a whole other issue!
