    Default Dixie update

Well all the blood test came back normal so now I need to make a decision about whether to get an appointment with a neurologist Iím just not sure which way to go. I want to do the best for her but I donít want to put her through anything needless or cause her more pain and suffering. I just not sure which decision want to do best for her.

Can you do a consult with a neurologist . See what they say ? And then you decide?
    Any your vet recommends ?

She is so young I would see a neurologist. How old is she now? This could be an easy thing to treat or it may get worse. I would want to know.

This is always so very hard and I fully understand what you are saying. I think Kata makes a good suggestion that you could perhaps get more information from a consult with the neurologist without agreeing to any other tests at this stage?

Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be the right decision for both you and Dixie.

I agree on trying to at least consult with a neurologist and make a decision from there.

Thank you for the update. Been thinking about you and Dixie a lot!

I agree about seeing if you can get a consult with a Neurologist. She is so young... it's possible this is something that can be treated now, so it won't progress. If the neuro suggests major surgery or scary procedures, then you can certainly step back and consult with your vet and decide if you want to put her through that, but it's also possible that the neuro would see something your vet has missed and perhaps there is a simple treatment plan. It's worth getting a consult to see if they can give you more information.

Glad all the blood work came back normal. i agree with all the above that I would schedule a consult - it doesn't mean you have to agree to any procedures. I will be praying for right decisions to be made and that this is something treatable.

She is young and this is a hard decision, I would do the consult video her for the neurologist to see and then decide. This is so difficult.
