I set up a live cam at my house, so I can check in on the pugs while I'm at work, right now they're sleeping so it's not that exciting:

Haha,
it even has sound.
I found something to do instead of cleaning house today.

Are they breathing? LMAO!![]()
and still sleeping.....
They look very cozy and cuddly. This was a good idea.
At one point my cat walked in and stole some of their water, that's about the extent of the excitment for now.
Yoshi (the black one) was barking at something a while ago...
Holy cow, even though they're still sleeping, that is the best thing I have ever seen. What kind of camera is that? Does it need to be hooked up to a computer in order to transmit? I want one!!

You'd be surprised to know it's a cheap camera, it's a Sony Digital-8 DCR TRV250. Only 200$.
What gives the camera that look is a "fish eye" lens. without it you'd only see a tiny portion of the room.
The camera is hooked to the computer using firewire and is being "pushed" onto a server.
My company has an account (costs 99$/month) to stream video. Without a streaming server you'll only be able to get a couple frames per second.
That is so cool! I can hear them making little sleeping sounds.
oooh I want to take a nap... That would be so worth it for me to feel less guilty about leaving my baby home alone all day, since DB days no more pug...
