Let my preface this by saying my friends and I have a dark and immature sense of humor...

That being said, he named his Pug Toby after Kunta's slave name in Roots. It was play on the fact that Toby runs the house, and he's black.

Another Lemon supporter here! I also love Indiana Jones and Yoda.
Although one of my favourite puggy names has to be Elvis. Me and Lola met him in Chesterfield once and I think Lola fell for him! He really suited the name!
If we had another pug I'd like to call her Leia but my hubby said he wouldn't call her name out in the park!!! hee hee

A hermaphrodite Pug? I didn't know that occurred with dogs.
Now it's time for androgyny, here comes PAT!
    (loved that skit).

My little Girl's name is Gertrude. My mom in law had named her that because she thought she looked like a little old lady. I almost brought home a little boy pug, we were going to name him Bert! But, I have 3 dogs as it is so I let another lady give him a good home.

Actually, hermaphrodocity (I just made up that term... I don't know what the right word is! ) isn't that uncommon. It's very important to get one spayed AND neutered (I guess) but it can be a bit more expensive.

OK... I need to stop typing. I don't completely know what I'm talking about. I DO know that it's not as uncommon as you'd think, and I DO know that they should get "fixed".

I really wasn't making this up as I was typing! I just realized I don't really know all the details and info!

    ingenious! I love it

There's a new memeber here with a Pug named Pugzilla, I thought that was so cute.

I still want to name a Pug Manu -- after the basketball player :cheshire:
