There is a pug in our rescue up here that was rescued from up north in the Matsu Valley. Linda and I told Vicky she needed to name her 'Mattie Sue'.. We're hoping the name stuck!

Sometimes we call Freddy Jones "Fredzilla"!

This isn't the name of a pug, but when we adopted Toby from Prairie Pugs rescue, my son kept calling it "Pugtopia"!

I love Gumpy, Toe Jam, Izzy, Ceylon, SugarRay, and doesn't Dante have a Coco?

I pretty much like all pug names (I really like Ditka. I REALLY like Thelma and Louisie).

The names of my next two males will be 1. Igor ("It's pronounced eye-gor."--from Young Frankenstein) and 2. Peter Lorre.

The women in my office decided I should have a matched pair of pugs named Pansy and Petunia.

If I ever adopt an older pair of seniors, male & female I would name them Fred & Ethel. I like unique names too. Gertie was just a Gertie. Shayna just didn't cut it. Wesley was Tequila and although a unique name I hated it!!

Yes! I love the name "Ethel" for a senior lady pug! Particularly one of epic proportions. Erma is good too.

I've always loved Tonka. He looks so very much like a Tonka.

I also just LOVE Mochi and Olive.

And, of course, I'm partial to all the Boris' and Natashas out there.
