Black Pug owners Just a thought that passed through my head here...
Of the owners who have black pugs... any of them have a white patch? Or just solid black?
How about tints of brown in the fur?

No white patch, but she does have a few white hairs in the curl of her tail. She also has some light brown in her ( on her shoulders mostly) and it's more obvious during the summer.

Betsy has a brownish collar. Roady, one of our first black rescues looked chocolate brown in some light.

Axel has no white patch, but he does have hints of brown in his fur. His daddy is black and his mama is fawn. I always attributed it to that. Maybe that is not correct.
