Ginger that is interesting! We had to get Toby neutered around 12 weeks due to a contract we signed with the rescue, even though our vet really wanted to wait until 6 months (and we wanted to do what the vet said but did not want a legal battle.)

Glad to know Tobes is not the only long legged pug! We are so curious to see how big he gets. He is starting to get a bit pudgier now. He is very athletic though and we are trying to keep him as slim and healthy as we can!
My two fat pugs! Toby rescued April 25, 2008 & Betz rescued November 15, 2009.

His legs are longer than My Boys' legs, but I don't think that's a bad thing. He looks pretty cute to me!

He actually reminds me a lot of Bart.. Just a tad darker in the face!

My first Pug was not very correct as far as conformation, but he had a very big heart and huge Pug personality and that is what matters.

I love the picture of him gazing into the eyes of his giraffe. The one on the back of the sofa is cute too. Poor guy doesn't want to fall asleep and miss anything that is going on in the house.

I am learning there is a great deal of variation in pugs and most of the ones that "meet standards" look nothing like the ones you see in paintings and such from way back when.

He looks very much like the ones I have seen in renaisance paintings.

My StanLee is not as tall but just as lanky.

My Kage's legs are longer too. I have noticed that the pugs who are lighter in color are bigger in general. Weird.

Toby is adorable and so photogenic! I llove your pictures of him, and the KKK reference was funny (you know what I mean). I especially loved the picture of him looking into the eyes of the giraffe. Nom nom nom.
