No, Margaux's ribs aren't visable. I can feel them though. When think about it, I think she runs around too much!

If you are concerned you can ask the Vet to do a stool sample and make sure she's not wormy.

I would say my girl is on the skinny side, but I think it's just her body type more than anything. Many pugs have a short and stout kind of stature, which I think is what people are used to seeing.
How much does your dog weigh? Lumie is also 8 months old and she weighs 15 lbs.

How much is she eating? And what does your vet say?

Check with the vet on her activity versus her calorie intake ... but puppies cannot run around too much, unless they are injured and must be kept quiet. It is how they develop muscle and bone. Play is totally necessary.

I'd say Matilda is skinny too and she'll be 6 months next week. At the vet today she weighed 11lbs8oz. I was surprised that it was that much, because she's so thin. However, she rarely stops moving.

StanLee is 4.54 kilograms now...I had to google a convertor, because I am a lazy American who uses pounds (10 btw). He has gained a lot of weight since I got him...which makes since, he is a growing boy.

He has doubled in weight between each of his vet visits.

He is still skinny, but I think that is normal for a puppy who is full of energy.

You should ask your vet about your concerns. She is probably fine but there could be a chance she is not getting enough food for her body/active life and that's why she eats the way she does. It probably wouldn't hurt to feed her a little bit more.

That sounds perfect, and they really can't run around too much.

You can slightly see the last ribs on all four of my pugs. My vet always compliments them on how nice it is to see fit pugs.....even my nine year old still runs circles around young dogs!
