    Default Pug in pup

Thought you might like to see a picture of my friends pug that we are looking after for a night, she is due in 10 days, looks like she's about to POP!

Here she is asking for more dinner

She is amazing, no sign of bump until she stands up or lies down then WOW is she huge.

    Glad she's going back tomorrow.

YIKES! I would be scared to have a mum that big in my house overnight just in case there was any confusion over dates and she started whelping!!! (In practice I doubt she would even if she were ready as she is in a strange place, but you never know...)

She is very cute. I hope they have a nice litter.

She's sleeping in our room tonight just in case but i'm sure she'll be fine. She is tiny, less than half the size of Gary, hopefully they'll do the right thing and spay her after this litter.
She is a sweetie though, if they ever get sick of her i'll be first in the queue

Oh my goodness, she is precious. Her tummy is HUGE but she looks so tiny. Prayers for a safe and easy delivery with healthy babies.

Hmmm, she dug in my bedroom all night, i've had no sleep!

She is so tired today she hasn't eaten or drank anything.

I'm going to pop her in at my vets to be sure she's ok. My friend (Laura) isn't coming back until late tonight and I don't know what to do!!

Wow. I was just thinking you are a saint to watch her. I would be worried too.

I think you are wise to check with the vet. Digging is a sign of nesting.

They can probably take her temperature which can give some indication of whether something is about to happen.

Though to be honest, if you have not gone out already, you might be better just calling the vet for now to see if they recommend you take her in. It is a pretty disturbing thing to take them to the vets so I wouldn't do it unless you think you have to.

    Good luck.
