Toby is waiting for Santa to bring a new squeaker for his beloved platypus. Mama is too busy with grad school to perform a transplant this week. He noms away on his little platypus with the saddest look on his face. No more squeaking, maybe santa can come to the rescue?
he waits by day
and he waits by night
he even throws in the pug slump for good measure
I fear soon he will destroy the tree and tree skirt out of impatience, rage, and straight up batshitcrazy pug orneryness. We must remain constantly vigilant with this little guy!
My two fat pugs! Toby rescued April 25, 2008 & Betz rescued November 15, 2009.
I needed that smile-- thanks!

Poor little man, he looks so distressed.
Cheer up little man, hopefully Santa will bring a new squeaky soon.

I would be happy to perform the transplant for you, but I am not sure if "platypus" is well enough to travel. Let me know and I will clear my schedule. I have done several of these types of transplants and have the proper equipment to insure a job well done.
