Mugzy is recovering well after having his left eye removed. It really looks worse in the photo than it is in person. He's been laying around and taking it easy. He's bumped into a few things and is very cautious. He'll learn though.

We are still undecided about what we'll be doing with Mojo. Mugzy has been avoiding him, but has growled a few times to warm him to go away. We're exploring our options. Until then, we're supervising and separating.
Maizee is just kinda hanging around dealing with the tension. :) Bless her little heart.

oh poor Mugzy, he looks kinda sleepy and like he is ready to snuggle. I am glad the surgery went well.
Poor Mugz! I hope you find an option that works well for everyone.![]()

Well, shortly after typing my update we had an incident. We have decided it's best to rehome Mojo. There is a possible option close to home. If it falls through, we'll contact rescue.
I'm heartbroken and devistated. I never thought I'd be in this situation.![]()

Alicia I'm so sorry you've had to go through this situation and make this decision, just heartbreaking.
My thoughts are with you, I hope the option close to home works out if it's the best for Mojo.

I'm so sorry it has come to this. I know it must be so very hard for you but you are doing what is best. That still does not keep your heart from hurting.![]()

I've lived with the tension (thankfully never with a hurt pug...I was lucky!) and you don't even realize how much tension there is til it's not there any more!
I know you will make the right decision for you and yours no matter what that decision is!!!!
