I hope everything works out for Mojo. If he gets to stay with your friend, at least you will be able to keep tabs on him and maybe see him now and then. I know it took real courage to make the decision you have had to make. I know your heart is hurting. I am sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

Alicia, I am crossing everything that Mojo settles in.

I am quite sure that, as hard as it is, you are making the bravest and best decision.

I hope it works out for Mojo, too.

It's the only way to keep both of the dogs safe and healthy. It has to be so hard, but you're thinking of both of them. Good luck and I hope Mojo and his new family hit it off right away!

Thank you all for your encouragement and words of support. It really does help the process. I know in my heart it is the most responsible option for all involved. The pain is more than I imagined I could experience, but it's manageable.

If Mojo stays with my friend he'll only be 2 miles away. You'll be sure to know how things go either way.

I'll be thinking of Mojo this weekend, hoping this works out for him.
You will be in my thoughts too, as I know this is extremely hard.

I too will be thinking good thoughts for his smooth transition to his new home this weekend! It would be great to have him close by. Course I would always think of him as mine though, I even do it with my fosters. I am sure it is heart wrenching, but I think they will both be happier for it! You are doing the right thing.
