Exclamation Pugweiser Fund For Pde Research

All I can say right now is "WOW"

For those of you who do not know a friend of mine named Eev Rodriguez Knapp started the "Pugweiser Fund" for PDE research when my Pugweiser was taken by this horrible disease. She has been keeping in close contact with Dr. Kimberly Greer ever since and everything collected from the "Pugweiser Fund" goes directly to Dr. Greer and her very important research. Eev can be contacted through Myspace at

    www.myspace.com/thepughotel

And now I have just found out there is a film being shown in NYC on May 24th 2009 called "PUGUMENTARY" with proceeds of merchandise and DVD sales going to the "Pugweiser Fund". The film is about the life of a senior citizen in NYC that passed away and left behind 22 (twenty-two) well loved and cared for Pugs. The info on the film can be found here.

Being Pugweiser's Mom I cant even begin to express how thankful I am to Eev for starting the "Pugweiser Fund". Or how proud I am to see that my baby boy is being remembered and honored in such a way. It is comforting to know that my Pugweiser's life here was obviously for a purpose.

Love to you all, please hug all of your babies for Pugweiser and I.

That is so awesome. What a tribute to a very special
little boy. It has been so long since I saw any, would
it be possible for you to post some Pugweiser pics?
    I really miss him.

That is so wonderful! What a great friend. It sounds like your sweet Pugweiser touched some hearts in his time here, and continues to do so.

That's a wonderful tribute to your boy. And a wonderful friend to do something so meaningful that will keep Pugweiser's memory alive forever. It's heartwarming to see something positive come from something so tragic. Thank you for sharing this awesome news.

It's a wonderful thing Renee and a great tribute to your boy. I hope the screening of this "Pugumentary" raises a ton of money for the fund. Wish I was there!

You are truly blessed to have a friend so wonderful.....
I think it's so great that Pugweiser's memory lives on and even though he's gone, he's still helping other pugs. He's a pug hero! And you must be very proud and touched.
