LOL this is so funny, I just love reading about the pugs and their food addictions. I have not given Bailey any cheese yet....now I am kinda afraid to hehehe.

The funny thing is that they don't even leave it in their mouth long enough to taste it. As soon as it enters they swollow it right up. You wouldn't think they'd care what it is.

So true!! We're always asking Wonka "Did you even taste that?"
I've read that much of the sense of taste is tied up in how something smells... so maybe pugs just 'taste' the cheese through their nose first and don't need to taste it on their tongue.

Rosie loves cheese, especially Epoisse but she'll ravenously eat any cheese.

Ming goes nuts for aged Vermont cheddar and imported Gruyere, but try to offer American cheese slices and he just sniffs and walk away. I'm afraid I've raised a cheese snob

Mushu and Libby freak about blue cheese (my favorite) but they aren't picky. American will do.

Samantha goes absolutely ballistic for cheese and peanut butter. Max does not care for cheese at all. Whenever I open the fridge door, she starts running around in circles really fast and starts barking until I give her some cheese and/or peanut butter. Whenever I come back home from grocery shopping and she sniffs and digs through all of the bags of groceries...she will find the cheese, take it out of the plastic bag, and start running around with it in her mouth. I have tried to offer her some cottage cheese, but she would just sniff it and then walk away. But, she definitely loves cheddar, American, and Pepper Jack. These are the two human foods that she cannot live without.

Gosh Yes, Cheese mad.. My hubby likes real strong cheese, it normally stinks... but one wiff of it, and Tupenny is up there on his shoulder giving sweet kisses until she gets her taste.
