Oh Lisa... I'm sitting here sobbing uncontrollably. I can not understand why his owners did not take him to the vet as you did... I will never understand the cold heartedness of some people. My prayers of thanks for you coming into his life at the end, for the ease of his suffering that you brought to him, are strong tonight. I've said it before and will say it again.. You are an angel.

You know...I couldn't go to bed with him on my mind and tearing at my heart.......so I played a few games of solitaire....and still could not stop the tears!!!

I'm going to bed now to hug my babies...shed some more tears as I hold them close and promise to take care of them for as long as they live...no matter what happens to them...they will never hurt like poor Grandpa!!!

i also vow to continue to work with rescue .....and help these poor guys out!!

Thank you Lisa for getting this poor little man and giving him the love and dignity he deserved in his final hours. Have no words for the morons who dumped him and obviously did not take good care of him and also for the shelter workers who allowed him to suffer needlessly.

Oh geez that's so sad. At least he had some dignity and human compassion at the end. I've read Tall Grass' Rainbow Bridge story about rescues who aren't rescued at the time of their crossing.

At least this guy is restored back to his glory days as he crossed over.

Thank you for wearing my logo as a you picked up this guy. I'm sure seeing it is like seeing a great big red "S" to these pugs.

This is so sad, I just don't know what is wrong with people.
    Humanity is failing.

Thank you giving Grandpa some love and taking away his suffering.

I'm sitting here bawling like a baby. Shame on his 'owners' and on the shelter. Lisa, you did a wonderful thing today. He dies knowing a kind touch.
