Default For Tuesday, he needs a foster!!

Anyone in SoCal or Central Cal who can foster this poor old man? He looks in pretty bad shape. Shelter is closed tomorrow, so I will pull him fro the North Central shelter in LA Tuesday, but I need to find a place to take him....either as a hospice, foster or adoption.

He was turned in "stray". He is 15, blind, infected eyes, neutered. He has severe periodontal disease and many missing teeth, stiffly ambulatory and sleeping on the cold concrete outdoor kennel floors at the shelter.

I have 11 at home now. But I'm not going to let him die in the shelter afraid, alone and cold. Our hospice person is full up. we are taking two from the San Diego shelter that are 12 and 15, I just pulled a pair of three year old's from Apple vallewy today and brought them to their fosters and we have a relinquishment in Lancaster area of another young adult male....

If anyone can open their heart and home to an old man, or knows of anyone who might, PLEASE contact me by PM, email truckmountgirl@gmail.com or cell phone 951-218-1600.

    Take care,
    Lisa

A thud in my heart when I saw his picture!!! I just, for the life of me, cannot understand people!!!!

Seeing him nicely comfy cozy, cared for medically so he's not hurting, and getting the love he deserves!

Poor boy, I don't get how someone could do this to their pet.

Just look at how painful his eyes look. Poor, poor old man.

Lord, Lisa, I do so wish that we could mind meld and teleport that poor creature. I really wish that he were here.

Princess, here. We think a bath and a furminator would take off the dead coat and medicated eyedrops would help his eyes. Maybe a little decent food and a soft warm bed. Here in Eastern Oklahoma, we have a faux rescue operating on CL selling confused pugs for money. Thank god the poor old man has found the real deal, a real rescue who will cuddle him and let him have a Crazy Chicken burrito on the way home. If I don't bite him, can I have him for a pet?
