Tears of joy for beautiful Meiko.

It's a hard story to read what could have been...and what is for many. These little dogs are pieces of gold and we throw them in the trash like they mean nothing. These little dogs can feel the same emotions we do - love, pain, shame, happiness, joy. Monkeys may be more like humans genetically, but emotionally, dogs are more like (or better than) humans.

It's like I always say about Sienna. That puppy miller had a piece of gold in his hands and didn't even know it. There is nothing in this world that I would trade Sienna for - no amount of money can buy her. How many pieces of gold end up in that gas chamber. Personalities that can't ever be replaced as each little soul is different and unique.

What a great story. I nearly cried at the thought of a bunch of dogs being shoved together and gassed. :(
Momma to a zoo. We have a total of 3 dogs, 1 service dog in training, 2 cats, and 2 human children. It's one crazy life.
