first of all, i am so glad to see there is a forum where all people love pugs. i had a pug for many years before, and i haven't had one in about four years now. my husband and i recently purchased our first pug together last week. needless to say, we're in love....of course!
my question is this:
i've been told to keep the training potty pads a few places in our apartment, just in case. so we have. the thing is, is that he will not go to the bathroom outside each time. jiggy is only 2.5 months old, so he is still young. not only that, but he always uses the training pads, except for when his stools are runny. is this normal? if not, can someone help me with ways and/or techniques that could help us with this?
Hello & to the village! The breeder that I got Tinker from had started her using the pads. When I got her home I didn't put any pads down but took her out every couple of hours with lots of praise and treats when she went outside. Patience and persistence pays off.
