Village Puppy
Stop biting What is the best way to stop my 12 week old pug from biting. She gets so hyper that she wants to bite and she bites so hard as puppy teeth are super sharp. I have toys but she prefers to go crazy and attack me lol how do you teach them to stop biting

It's really just down to constant distraction with toys during this phase and maybe giving a little yelp and "no" when she gets you instead of the toy. I had a helpful cocker spaniel who happily went and fetched me a toy if I didn't happen to have one readily to hand, plus she got the bonus of using the toy to temporarily get the pesky puppy out of the way!

Good advice above about training and distraction. At 12 weeks, a puppy is going to bite, that's just how puppies are. I hope you find some options that work well for you and can train her quickly to not bite so hard.

The good news is - she will outgrow it. But in the meantime those little Puggie puppy teeth are so sharp. Distraction and short time outs to settle down will be your best friends.
We never touch people so lightly that we don't leave a trace.
