    Default Edit not working

    I get the edit box, but there is no option to save changes today.

    Hmmm, trying it out now.

    I have the box to save, maybe it is fixed, or try logging out then back in again.

    Hmmmm.... very odd! Normally, as a Moderator, I have the power to edit other people's posts and I tried it just now and for both of you I just get an edit box within the post and it has no save option.

    I'm going to post this and then see if I can edit my own.

    Nope, that did not work... I could type whatever I wanted into the edit box, but there is just no way to save and if I refresh the page, the edits are gone.

    I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions. I hope it's just a "glitch in the Matrix" and the Webmaster will have it running smoothly again soon.

    Ok, so I was using Internet Explorer 11 earlier (my usual browser) and edit wasn't working... I've now switched over to Firefox and Edit is working just fine! So maybe it's IE related?

    Oh shoot! I belonged to another forum that kept telling me to change my browser. Not gonna do that. IE is still the most commonly used browser, and everything should work on IE.

    Although I did have a system crash this afternoon, and that has NEVER happened in the 3 years I have owned this laptop.

    Halloween is over. Computer ghosts can go away now.

    This is not true, mind you... Browser Statistics
    Chrome has the vast majority of the browser market share, with firefox second, then IE.

    I really like Opera (it's what I use, but really, it's just Chrome with a different skin on it). IE, especially older versions, has many, many things that make web developers swear and want to commit atrocities. But that said, I liked it... but I am also the other half of a mainly-web developer, so yeah. Opera for me :)
